NO ESCAPE (2015)
This is a film that I basically liked and felt that it presented a situation that is becoming all too familiar when you have to travel to certain parts of our world today. Owen Wilson, in a rare dramatic turn, does an excellent job as a husband presented with an unimaginable situation and doing the best he can in dealing with it. I often thought while viewing this film, if I myself would have acted any differently given the circumstances and that is a very good sign of a story that has been very well thought out. Lake Bell and Pierce Brosnan (in a role that he should be considered as Best Supporting Actor for the Academy Award) are excellent as are the two children, Sterling Jerins and Claire Geare who play siblings caught in a unforeseen nightmare.
